Randall Packer

Randall Packer composed the music for the piece (Bell)n, one of segments in New Versions. He is a pioneering composer and media artist in the integration of live performance and interactive multimedia. Packer is the former director of the acclaimed Multimedia Studies Program of San Francisco State University and is currently working on a book chronicling the history of multimedia. He is also a co-founder of Zakros InterArts/New Music Theater, which publishes an interactive CD-ROM of New Versions.
